Blueberries are so good for you because they are full of vitamins and antioxidants. This fact alone is enough to me want to eat them, but it also helps that they are super delicious. For the past year or so I've been making what I call "cereal" with different kids of fruits and mix-ins (nuts,seeds, granola, ect.) for a yummy satisfying breakfast. I love being able to eat something sweet, with a small crunch all covered in milk to make me think that I'm eating a childhood favorite. My version is much better for you and honestly, I would choose it any day over normal store bought cereal. My blueberry cereal is raw, vegan, simple, and so energizing! Try out the recipe and see for yourself.
Serves 1-2
Ingredients:
-1 pint of blueberries (I usually freeze mine and end up freezing my milk with them and having a frozen treat)
-1 tbs chia seeds
-2 tbs golden flax seeds
-2 tbs coconut sugar
-1 1/2 cups almond coconut milk
Directions:
1)Mix everything together in your favorite bowl.
2) Enjoy.
