Watermelon Cherry Lime Smoothie

Its summer time, and as usual my kombucha intake is on the rise because it is a delicious, cool, refreshing drink. As usual, upon entering my local Giant Eagle, I head straight for the health food section in the back where there is a cooler brimming with amazing kombucha goodness. But WAIT! What is this? A new flavor? I look closely at the name, it is called limited edition Liberty Kombucha (by GT's kombucha). Hmm...what does liberty taste like? Oh wait, there's more...Watermelon, Cherry Lime. I love watermelon. I love cherries. I love lime! Long story short, I have found my favorite kombucha flavor, so much so, that I emailed the company and told them this better not be a limited edition!

Anyway, the flavor combination got me thinking, hey this would make a fantastic smoothie. I was right.



Ingredients:

  • 1/2 seedless Watermelon
  • 1 1/2 cups of black cherries
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 cups of ice

Directions:

1) Place everything into a blender and blend until smooth! Super. Easy.
