A friend of ours once told me and Steven that we have "the most exotic drinks". Like everyone has a clothing weakness that they are always drawn to without realizing it, everyone has a consumption weakness that they don't realize. Up until this point I hadn't really thought about it, but its true-our weakness is drinks! Granted we've never had an sip of alcohol so our variety of drinks comes from many other areas such as flavored waters, kombucha, different kinds of seltzers, coconut probiotic drinks, smoothies, juices, coffees- the list really could go on and on! All that to say that I really ought to start posting more about my greatest weakness! So today I'm going to share a delicious green tea latte recipe (sorry folks, no coffee this time-maybe next time!).
Serves 1
Ingredients:
-1 1/2 cups sweetened soy milk,(if you prefer not to use soy you can use any other none dairy sweetened milk, or of course you can sweeten it yourself with a bit of coconut sugar or sweet drops)
-2 tsp matcha green tea powder
-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
1) If you have an espresso machine like I do, then steam the milk. If you don't then you can heat the milk and use a frother or simply just heat the milk.
2) Mix in the green tea powder and the cinnamon
3) Enjoy. See that was easy, huh?
Optional: If you like your drinks to be really sweet you can add a sweetener of your choice, but my milk was already sweetened that was enough for me.
