Lavender & Amaranth Porridge with Apples

This week was the first time I had ever tried using Amaranth and I have no idea why! I had no clue that Amaranth had such an amazing health benefits profile. It is full of calcium, iron, protein, lysine, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin c, just to name a few! I decided after buying it and learning its health benefits that I need to make good use of this itsy bitsy grain (seriously, its so tiny cute). Yesterday I made Steven and myself some gluten free pancakes with some caramelized apples and decided to apply that same idea here, but with the addition of some lavender (super yum!)
